Declaring himself a “warmonger”, Khago has explained that his wife and manager Francine Gayle was overpowering him during a fight, and was about to come out victorious when he hit her with a dumbbell.

Pointing out that Francine only had the advantage as his body had been weakened by the COVID-19 virus, Khago took to Instagram on Friday morning, a day after The Jamaica Star tabloid carried the story that she had dropped the charges of assault occasioning bodily harm, which she had laid against him.

According to the report, the Blood a Boil artist had been arrested and charged on Sunday, September 19, after Francine filed a report of physical abuse against him, but was freed of the charges when he appeared in the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday.

The Star had reported that after Francine objected to the manner in which the Manchester native was beating their son, “he then turned on her and used a dumbbell to hit her in the forehead causing a wound”, and that she had left the marriage and returned overseas.

However, on Friday morning, Khago sought to shed light on what had transpired between himself and Francine, and outlined his role in the commotion that left his wife with injuries to her forehead.

“Tell oonu di God Almighty truth, mi a war monger sah. But meck mi tell oonu: is not all di time it is me wrong.  Mi naw guh seh none a di wrong a nuh my own.  But God damn, mi caan suh wicked.  Everything happen, a Khago wrong, Khago wrong, Khago wrong.  Mi caan even quarter wrong one a di time bredda?”

Seemingly amused, Khago insisted that he was only being himself and that engaging in fights was a part of his character, that he would not change and that he loves when his women are able to fight him.

“Oonu tink me a back dung from how me stay? Bredda mi jus a be myself. All food mi fight fah…,” he said.

The Nah Sell Out artist also said that Francine was only bluffing when she went to the police to file the report against him.

“Francine caan lock up dis yah nice husband yah. Shi jus trying gi mi a scare tactics because shi neva know seh dah level a badniss deh inna mi,” he said.

Labelling some of his detractors as ‘dutty Jamaicans’ who were jumping to conclusions, Khago said that many Jamaican couples engage in physical fights, even pastors and their wives.

He then outlined the reasons Francine, whom he says is taller than him and is a very strong woman, was about to defeat him during the battle, something he claims he could not allow as a man.

“Anytime yuh si a man and a woman a fight and a man haffi teck up one likkle three pound sittn inna him han, it men she di woman did a whoop him backside.  Caw mi have COVID enuh, and mi heart a wheeze. A whoopin mi a get… mi defend myself  becaw mi did a get mi ass whoop.  F_ck oonu teck dis ting fah man,” he said.

“Oonu tink Francine a no gyal oonu can turn ova and seh: ‘mi husband and come get di belt mi rude come spank mi’,” he said.

Khago said that like him, Francine is combative, and also a no-nonsense woman who was not even willing to take playful slaps from him.

“Francine nuh teck slap my yute. Shi a fight.  Di only way Francine can teck slap up a if oonu fight.  Suh mi fi just siddung and meck woman beat mi?   Wi fight. And Francine naw siddung and meck me beat har.  Wi fight,” he insisted.

“Mi is a fighter and Francine know dat from day one, seh me is a bwoy weh fight… mi always a look smaddy fi fight.  Das why mi stay weh from people…,” he added.

He continued: “Come a gwaan like Khago just come and si him wife a sleep and tie har up and beat har… every man and dem woman fight.  And 99 percent a di time a dem wicked gyal yah a di problem… Mi an mi woman fight.  And if shi come back, wi will fight again.  Di next time, shi don’t fight mi when mi sick.”

He then went on to praise his wife’s athletic ability and fighting skills and instructed female naysayers to try to engage Francine in a fight.

“I can tell you seh Francine can run faster dan mi; Francine can work out harder dan mi; Francine an work out longer dan mi. Francine a athlete.  One a oonu gyal guh buck Francine inna di street and fight har fi mi.  Jus fight har.  Just test it and fight mi wife,” he said.

In another YouTube post titled Khago and his wife fight lol,  Khago ordered his detractors to mind their own business, in the expletive-laced tirade.

“Meck I tell oonu suppm.   Mi si man of God lock oonu up inna church an a cut off oonu raas throat, which part oonu guh fi guh a heaven, an a funeral oonu end up guh dress up inna oonu white,” he said.

“And two sinna live, an oonu feel wi naw guh bump head and fight?  Man oonu f_ck off yah man and mind oonu own business.  Yes wi fight. Mi is a fighter, yeh man; di two a wi a fighter; di  two a wi a rebel.  Di only difference, choo man have muscle it always a guh cum out like a me win.  But a bad man and bad gyal live.  Wi fight,” he added.
