Cardi B’s ‘Passa Passa’ Dancehall-themed birthday bash at the LA River Studios on Monday night was a star-studded affair. Leave it to the rap icon to go above and beyond to make her 29th birthday celebration an unforgettable one.

Besides the live performances and toasts from some of the biggest names in Dancehall including Spice, Shenseea, Ding Dong, Kranium, Sean Paul, and Mr Vegas, the risqué ‘fiyah’ fashion styles among Cardi’s celebrity friends and guests were just as entertaining to see. Almost everyone understood the assignment handed out by Cardi via Twitter, inviting them to show up and skin out in their best Dancehall settings.

The Birthday Girl

Cardi’s Laurel DeWitt gold and black chain bra, batty rider shorts and fishnets with chunky Chanel accessories definitely made the cut. Kudos to her hairstylist who gave the rap star hard curls pinned up with a few waterfall tresses.

With hubby, Offset by her side the entire night, dressed in a Gianni Versace cardigan, black tank and jeans underneath and flossing multiple layers of diamond chains, her Dancehall ensemble came complete.

Spice

No one did it better than the Queen of Dancehall herself. Spice, who headlined the event was the epitome of Dancehall fashion. The look was paired with gold thigh-high boots courtesy of Coco & Blue Shoes with an excessive amount of bling to embody a true Dancehall queen.

Jamaican-Canadian model Winnie Harlow clearly understood the assignment when she arrived wearing Rastafarian red, green and yellow multi-color crocheted monokini that barely left much to the imagination. She knew all too well that in order to be a “Dancehall queen for life” she’d have to double up on the accessories and that she did, lacing both hands with sizable gold rings and bangles.
