Sean Paul, Ty Dolla $ign Drop Visuals For Their Collab On ‘Only Fanz’: Watch

Grammy Award-winning superstar Sean Paul has dropped a hot new single, Only Fanz with matching visuals that features American rapper Ty Dolla $ign.

In the SPJ Productions/ Island Records produced single, the ever-relevant Dancehall deejay dishes a lively dance-floor-ready stripper anthem with a play on the recently made popular ‘Only Fans’ social platform.

His intro delves right into the core of the song’s narrative: “She don’t work but I know she work for that. She’s a flirt for all the gifts and chips and cash/ A just suh the gyal flex, real Gold Digger it nuh mek sense yuh vex. She nuh want nuh husband, she just want the check.”

In the first-class video production directed by Myles Whittingham, a selection of alluring vixens flaunt their sex appeal on a backdrop, which replicates the Only Fans web page to truly capture the essence of the song.

Sean Paul explained to DiscoverMusic that the new track is simply a dedication to all those ‘hard working’ ladies out there. “Only Fanz is for all the independent females who know their worth and empowering all the independent ladies who work hard to make their money,” he said.

“The single also features Ty Dolla $ign, who I respect immensely. It’s been amazing to work with him. He was the perfect addition, knocked out his verse in no time and sent it back.”

Ty Dolla $ign, who impeccably matched Paul’s verses in the second half of the track with his finessed bars, shared a mutual adoration adding, “I’m honored to work with a legend like Sean Paul, man! He’s a true hitmaker and I hope you all love this song as much as we do!”

The Dancehall icon has certainly proved that he has a knack for blending Dancehall music with the right type of artists across genres. It speaks to a long list of hit tracks he has done with collaborators from around the globe, namely Sia (Cheap Thrills), Tove Lo (Calling On Me), Dua Lipa (No Lie), David Guetta (Mad Love), Migos (Body), Clean Bandit (Rockabye), Alexis Jordon (Got 2 Luv U), Beyonce (Baby Boy), Oryane (Love Mi Ladies), Keyshia Cole (Give It Up To Me) to name a few.

Earlier in March, Paul released his seventh studio album, Live N Livin, a collaborative celebration of his Jamaican heritage and dancehall roots in which he trades the mic with local acts, Damian Marley, Buju Banton, Agent Sasco, Busy Signal, Govana, Mavado, Skillibeng, Intence, Jesse Royale, Squash, Serani, Masicka and several others. “I hold this album very dear to my heart because it shows the effort of collaboration over confrontation,” says Sean. “We don’t need to divide our fans to attain the rotations on the airwaves or streams.”

His eighth album Scorcha is on the way, slated for release soon. The lead track has already been released and doing pretty well with over a million views since it premiered in April.
