Dancehall artist Rytikal and the Reggae King Bob Marley continue to top the Dancehall and Reggae music charts this week.

Rytikal still has the most streamed song on YouTube in Jamaica this week with his May 30 single Chosen, according to YouTube’s Music Charts & Insights. The track, which was produced by Dynasty Records/DJ Mac on the My Letter To You Riddim has amassed over 3.5 million views on the platform.

The Eastsyde Records artist, who celebrated his 26th birthday yesterday, has since released three other new singles — Ready, Trouble Mekka, and We Okay. Born Ryan McFarlane, the Galaxy Brain deejay is certainly keeping productive during his time out on bail as he returns to court on July 30 to answer charges for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. The song Chosen also seems to pull on his introspections about the legal woes, giving fans some insight on his feelings on the matter and, perhaps, that has contributed to the song’s success.

Labelmate Skillibeng also recently toasted Rytikal’s success after the two traded subliminal jabs on Instagram earlier this year.

As Rytikal’s Chosen holds down the No. 1 spot on the Jamaican music chart for another consecutive week, upcoming artist Skeng holds No. 2 with a grimey banger called Street Cred.

Intence’s Yahoo Boyz is at No. 3 on the island this week, while 10 Tik’s breakout hit Roll Deep is at No. 4.

At No. 5 is Jahvillani’s Pro-Gress off his Dirt To Bentley album, followed by Masicka’s Special at No. 6, which the Warlord Bounty Killer called “music with meaning and feelings“.

The Big Ss with Spice, Shaggy, and Sean Paul come in at No. 7 with their single Go Down Deh.  Squash’s Rate Who Rate You is at No. 8, newcomer 450’s Imperfection takes No. 9, and finally Alkaline is at No. 10 with Hostage from his Top Prize album.

Etana, UB40’s Albums

Reggae singer Etana’s eighth studio album Pamoja, which was released on June 25, received a near-perfect score in our review.  The 16-track album sold 26 copies in pure album sales and 58 album-equivalent units in total consumption from sales and streaming in the United States during its first week of release, according to data provided to DancehallMag by sales tracker MRC Data (formerly Nielsen SoundScan).

British band UB40’s Bigga Baggariddim album, which was also released on June 25, sold 190 copies in pure album sales, and 300 album-equivalent units in total consumption from sales and streaming in the US in its first week.

Billboard’s Reggae Album Chart

Meanwhile, on the Billboard Reggae Album Charts, which considers sales and streaming in the United States, Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend still dominates at the No. 1 position for 78 weeks in a row.

Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection is at No. 2 this week, replacing Rebelution’s In The Moment, which now secures the No. 3 position.

Stick Figure’s World On Fire is at No. 4 and UB40’s Greatest Hits is at No. 5 this week.

Stick Figure again comes in at No. 6 with their Set In Stone album and Sean Paul’s Dutty Classic Collection and Dutty Rock albums are at No. 7 and 8 respectively.

Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Exodus is currently at No. 9, with Rebelution’s Count Me In at No. 10.
