Dancehall starlet Shenseea was spotted in the studio with renowned record producer Murda Beatz last night, evidently laying down beats for some new music.

With her long-awaited debut album loading, anticipation has heightened now that the ShengYeng princess has the Canadian DJ/songwriter guru backing her project.  The two, pictured above, were also spotted at Doja Cat’s Planet Her album release party in June.

Murda Beatz, 27, is one of the most highly sought producers in the industry. His well-known tags, “murda on da beat so it’s not nice” and “m-m-m-murda” appear on many of his mega-hits which include 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj’s Fefe (RIAA 8X Platinum), Migos, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s Motorsport (RIAA 3X Platinum), Drake’s Nice for What (RIAA 5X Platinum), 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla Sign, Trey Songz and Jhené Aiko’s It’s A Vibe (RIAA 2X Platinum), and several others.

In an Instagram post today, Beatz shared three photos from the session which he captioned: “Wait Till They Hear This 😈 @shenseea.”

He also shared a clip to his Instagram Story.

Shenseea, 24, is certainly going the extra mile and putting all her focus on the upcoming LP. After a month-long hiatus from social media, she resurfaced last week to show her 4.1 million ShengYengz on Instagram that she has been busy working on her music and shared a clip of a 4 a.m. studio session with American hitmaker, London on da Track.

If you didn’t know, London, 30, is another mastermind behind some of the last decade’s most infectious hits.  They include Lifestyle (498 million views on YouTube) by Rich Gang featuring Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, No Stylist (178 million views) by French Montana and Drake, and My Type (119.9 million views) by Saweetie.

With Murda Beatz and London on da Track producing beats for the Jamaican Dancehall deejay/singer, it’s expected that Shenseea’s new album will have a few tracks on some Hip Hop rhythms, and perhaps that will set the stage for her to showcase her forte for rapping.

While there hasn’t been any update from her camp as to when the debut album will drop or if there will be any featured guests on the collection, we see that the Blessed singer has been rubbing shoulders with some huge international celebs in the last few months since she has been abroad.  She was spotted hanging with H.E.R. in the studio, performing on stage with 50 Cent and Trey Songz, and at dinner with Doja Cat and French Montana.

There’s also a rumored collab with Drake, and last weekend’s BET Awards after-party link up with Busta Rhymes, Swizz Beatz, Migos, City Girls, Bia, Megan Thee Stallion, Chloe Bailey, and more.

Meanwhile, Shenseea’s team up with the Canadian hip-hop/rap producer has received approval from top Jamaican Dancehall producers Steven ‘Di Genius’ Mcgregor, Jordan Chimney and Mario ‘Dunw3ll’ Dunwell, who all dropped fire emojis.

“Shenseea in the studio with murdabeatz??? No man she buss yf,” exclaimed one fan.

“Shenseea working with murda and london. Excited to hear what she does on those beats,” another wrote.

“Hurry up and drop the songs you have in store for us🥺❤️,”  one added.
