After a year of not putting out any new material, dancehall hit-maker Razor B said a conversation with his wife, was the catalyst behind his latest single, Pepper Sauce.

“My wife and I were having a conversation and she kept coming up with spicy answers… I told her she is hot like Pepper Sauce. It was sealed from there,” Razor B explained.

The fun bouncy beat and catchy lyrics of Pepper Sauce are in line with Razor B’s signature style of creating tracks for the ladies which can be seen in his tunes Hot UpUp In Deh and Bruk Back which were chart bangers.

Given the seriousness of the times, the dancehall hitmaker noted that he chose to put out the Pepper Sauce single to lighten up the space, which has been filled with coronavirus and pandemic-related material.

“People are tired of hearing bad news, curfews, lockdown and stress. This song makes you forget all that and get up and dance. It is aimed at releasing all stress and make all listeners feel happy,” Razor B added.

According to Razor B, his single stands out on the Donkey Cart Riddim and based on his high energy and lyrical content, he believes it is a tune that will resonate with his loyal fan base.

Razor B also used the occasion to share that despite being out of the spotlight for a bit, the break was absolutely necessary.

“Me not releasing new songs for a minute is strategic, I have been focused on me. Busy working out, working on vocals and waiting for the right vibe. I don’t put out songs a dime a dozen for the sake of releasing music. I want what I put out there to be of good quality and have the potential for longevity, ” Razor B said.

Razor-B said that with things beginning to look more positive as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic and, the summer finally seeing the return of the entertainment industry he is again energized to get into the  been studio and work on hit material.

Pepper Sauce is recorded on the Donkey Cart Riddim produced by GQ for Razor B’s  QG Production label.
