Dancehall star Sean Paul might not have been able to join Spice and Shaggy on the promotional ride in Atlanta for their new hit single Go Down Deh but he sure had time for some fun with the family. He and his wife, Jodi Henriques took on TikTok’s Run In Opposite Directions Challenge with their kids Levi and Remi to see who the real MVP is at home.

The challenge, Run In Opposite Directions, which plays on the beat of American rapper Mooski’s Track Star, is quite the trend. Couples get the kid/s together (or even the family dog) and run in opposite directions to see whom they would follow.

For Sean and Jodi, things didn’t go as smoothly with their youngest Remi, (1 yr. 9 mo.), who proved that she is in fact the boss of all things. After her parents dashed off, the toddler simply didn’t budge but instead looked at them as if they’d lost their minds.

Levi, 4yrs, on the other hand, shot towards his mom during the first take but on the second attempt chose to kick it with lil’ sis, you know the real boss, and then gave her the sweetest hug ever to let her know he’s got her back.

Jodi admittedly captioned the TikTok share, “Remi won!” to which many agreed.

“She doesn’t need/depend on y’all, y’all need/depend on her😂😂👑,” said one follower. Others chimed in, “Remi is like who these fools think I’m chasing 😂,” “Remi’s like nooo I’m not doing this running thing today” and “She was like “ this is what you guys bring me out here for? You have nothing to do? Where is my food! 😂.”

Several others were simply smitten with Levi and his reaction to choose his little sister in the end. While another bunch was caught up with whether their eyes were deceiving them or not since the ‘dad’ in the video looked a lot like Sean Paul.

“Isn’t that Sean Paul?😳” and “Is uur husband Sean Paul? were just two of many queries with a few who figured it out, “Took me a min to realize that’s mf Sean Paul” and “I was thinking the same thing I said he looks known 🥰🥰🥰.”

The Dancehall heavyweight can be seen kidding around from time to time with the kids on social media and often obliging Jodi on a few episodes of Twosdays With Tricky which she hosts with her sister on YouTube.

Paul’s new track with fellow Dancehall elites Spice and Shaggy (who have dubbed themselves the ‘SSS’ trio) is blowing up the airwaves since its release 5 days ago. Go Down Deh is currently No. 1 on the US Reggae iTunes chart. The Jay Will (Game Over) directed music video, shot at MECA in Kingston, Jamaica, is also currently trending No. 1 on YouTube Jamaica with almost 2 million views since it dropped on May 1.

Fans will be happy to know Dutty Paul has a new album Scorcha that’s fast approaching to be released under Island Records and will feature American singer Gwen Stefani, Australian singer-songwriter Sia, Jamaican Dancehall divas Shenseea and Jada Kingdom. The album’s lead single, which was produced by Chimney Records just unleashed a new video treatment last week.

Scorcha the album follows another Live N Livin, which was released on March 12 under Paul’s Dutty Rock Productions and debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Reggae Album chart.
