Now we know for certain why Dancehall star boy Skillibeng zipped to Port Antonio last weekend. His new music video with American rappers Rich The Kid and Jay Critch just dropped, revealing what these “real bosses” were really up to this entire time.

Speculations began lingering when Rich The Kid and Critch arrived on the island two weeks ago to link up with Skillibeng and Popcaan. Between exploring several tourist hot spots in the parish and blazing up the local herbs, the rappers would show video snippets of music recording sessions on their Instagram Stories.

Critch even teased as a possible collab with Skilli on Twitter last week but no one expected to see the project come to fruition this soon. The official track Real Boss landed yesterday (April 26) courtesy of EastSyde Records and will be a part of the collection for Skillibeng’s The Prodigy “Ladies Only” Mixtape that’s expected to launch this year.

The new visuals, which credits David Divad for the graphics was shot at the Geejam Hotel by San San in Port Antonio, at their exclusive hilltop villa Cocosan. The chic luxury oasis boasts stellar views of the sea with private terraces, a seductively stylish lap pool, and magazine-perfect interiors complete 6 exquisite bedrooms and a noteworthy eclectic art collection – a well-appointed backdrop for the trio to demonstrate what it means to be a Real Boss.

The trio also flex and strike poses around Skilli’s custom, army green BMW X6.

On beats provided by riddim master Aalvero, Rich captains the track spitting bars about his rich lifestyle, setting off imaginations as he raps about his mansion, the girls, and a ‘100 mil’ at his disposal. Critch adds his triggering flows; for him being a “real boss” is running the streets and flexing his mobster connections, while Skillibeng is your indisputable gyallis; even his nemesis’ girls are free for his picking.

The team-up with the young stars couldn’t be more of a treat for the fans, who say they are simply loving this “Fully Trap Dancehall💯🇯🇲🇺🇲” sound. The “Skillibeng X Rich The Kid X Jay Critch is a good look✅🙏🏾,” said one viewer on YouTube. Others commended the Dancehall fresh prince for his lyrical wit, “Skili have dem flow pan any bloodclxxt Riddim… Brrrrp🐊🐊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” “Skilli got the skills to sing with rappers🎵🎵🔥🔥,” and “Yo Skillibeng big up you self me General yuh thing shot fyah 🔥🔥🔥. Lyrics tuff yuh bad breda naa lie.

Many are predicting Real Boss will be trending by the end of the day, with almost 200k views within a few hours, let’s see where it goes.
