Dancehall veteran Bounty Killer, through his Foundation, has donated three wheelchairs and cash to members of the disabled community in Porus.  The move did not go unnoticed by his former protégé Vybz Kartel, who applauded the Warlord’s continued efforts of helping those who are less fortunate.

The Bounty Foundation made the donation on March 25 at the Porus Primary School in Manchester where the Warlord distributed JMD $50, 000 each to three differently-abled persons. The monetary donation will be used to help cover some of their medical costs.

“Well today we are here at the Porus primary school and we are here making another presentation on behalf of the Bounty Foundation. We just trying to enrich a few smiles and each one teach one to reach one you know, that’s one of my motto,” Killer said at the presentation.

In an Instagram post yesterday, Kartel shared a clip from the presentation, which was captioned, “A longtime di general kind and helping to people!!!! Dont mek di #warlord persona trick yuh, @grunggaadzilla is di original & only #poorpeoplegovernor!!!”

“Nuff millionaire yuh create bout ya mi don!!! Mi love u as a fada!!!🙏,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bounty Killer said he and his Foundation were just doing their part. “These disabled citizens needed the wheelchairs and the caregivers from the foundation, they allocated some funds and they accessed the wheelchairs and we decided that we’re gonna come and make the presentation today.”

bounty-killer-porusAs he was being interviewed by TV personality Winford Williams, he explained that his foundation was created to help all of Jamaica.

“People reach out to us from all over the island and the ones with the most needs is the ones that we tend to. So as you see these people are unable to even move around so they have real needs,” he said.

The Benz and Bimma singer added that he was happy to be able to bring some smiles to those in need. Something he said Jamaica is in dire need of at this time.

“Cause Jamaica need to smile more. A long time yuh nah see Jamaica ah smile because the crime rate is detrimental and covid on us so I think stretching each hand is ah good thing we haffi stretch out we hand right now and we haffi just embrace each other and come together and fight,” he said before quipping that Porus should now be renamed “Richus”.

Some of those who gathered thanked Bounty profusely for his generosity as smiles lit up their faces.
