The stream-driven Billboard Reggae Album chart remains largely unchanged this week as Sean Paul’s mega collaborative album, Live N Livin debuts at No. 9.

Released on March 12 under Paul’s Dutty Rock Productions, the collab heavy suite of 16 tracks recruited Reggae and Dancehall artists like Busy Signal, Intence, Buju Banton, Damian Marley, Govana, Serani, Jesse Royal, Stonebwoy, Bugle, Squash, Mavado, Agent Sasco, Masicka, and Skillibeng.

During recent interviews, Sean Paul, 48, explained that he was dropping the album on his own label where he had full control, because he was not concerned with the numbers but in illustrating his mantra of unity and “collaboration over confrontation”.

Live N Livin is the multi-platinum Grammy Award winner’s 7th studio album.

Dutty Rock, The Trinity, Imperial Blaze and Full Frequency all peaked at No. 1 on the Reggae Album chart, while Stage One and Tomahawk Technique peaked at No. 2.

The Temperature singer is expected to release another album, Scorcher, in May under the auspices of Island Records. The LP will feature American singer Gwen Stefani, Sia, Shenseea, Jada Kingdom, and Stylo G.

Meanwhile, Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and The Wailers continues its reign at the top of the Billboard Reggae Album chart for its 63rd consecutive week.

Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy is steady at No. 2 on the Chart.

Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection re-entered the chart at the No. 3 position this week, after the deejay ramped up promotion of himself and Live N Livin over the last few weeks.

Set In Stone and World on Fire by Stick Figure are still on the chart at No. 4 and 5 after entering 141 and 81 weeks ago respectively.

Greatest Hits by UB40 takes No. 6 followed by #7DJ (7 Dias En Jamaica) by Maluma at No. 7 and Skip Marley’s Higher Place EP at No. 8, which has been showing some movement following Grammy week.
