Dancehall artiste Future Fambo has accepted a $1.5 million offer to perform at Beenie Man’s Summer Sizzle, potentially setting the stage for a public reconciliation between the former friends following weeks of verbal clashes.
Fambo confirmed that Billboard-charting producer Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor contacted him and indicated that he was prepared to meet the artiste’s $1.5 million asking price for the performance.
“Yes, I am ready to do the show,” Fambo said.
The development comes as Fambo enjoys a resurgence in dancehall, powered by his viral hit Red Light Pepper Light, which has generated significant attention across TikTok and other social media platforms.
Beenie Man’s Summer Sizzle returns on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Woodleigh Sports Complex in May Pen, Clarendon, following a six-year hiatus.
Fambo suggested that, despite the recent war of words, he is prepared to put the controversy behind him and focus on entertaining his fans.
“I am going to call on a few guests. Me and nobody nuh inna no war. I am an entertainer, and I want to make sure my fans have a great time,” he said.
The possible Summer Sizzle appearance would represent a dramatic turn in the relationship between Beenie Man and Fambo, who have exchanged stinging remarks and disses in recent weeks.
The two artistes have a history that stretches well beyond their latest disagreement. They famously collaborated on Rum and Red Bull, one of Fambo’s biggest records and a major dancehall hit.

He is also scheduled for Gugu Mental’s birthday event on August 15, Old Harbour on August 16 and Mandeville on August 22.
But it is the prospect of Fambo walking onto the Summer Sizzle stage that could generate the biggest reaction.
After weeks of public sparring, the appearance would give two longtime collaborators an opportunity to turn confrontation into entertainment — and perhaps even reunite for Rum and Red Bull.
