Skillibeng Shares Visuals For “Coke” On Crashed Plane, Fans Say He Needs ‘Quality Control’

EastSyde Records’ signee Skillibeng continues to push the envelope in more law-breaking narratives in his tracks. His latest release, Coke while self-explanatory isn’t as enlightening as its new music video.

Directed by Beans Edital, the visual, which is now trending No. 1 in Jamaica, dropped yesterday on the artiste’s Vevo page to find Skilli in another of his entertaining conspiracies.  This time involving the suspicious plane crash in Clarendon, Jamaica just over a week ago.

According to Skilli, he had a hand in the entire operation, which resulted in the plane’s emergency landing off the coast of Rocky Point in the parish. Skillibeng uses a clip of the Prime Time News coverage for the track’s intro, as investigations continue into what really happened.

Dialed in with skits from the 1999 Jamaican action crime film, Third World Cop, Skilli reveals, “Di plane just crash wid di coke … di pilot crash wid di coke. Mi glad seh di plane land and it nuh blow up.” With his guns loaded and ammunition stacked, he and his “aliens” retrieve the merchandise from the aircraft and head off to “trample di road.”

The Fresh Prince says he’s not a user but is rather all about the business, “Mi nuh put it in a mi nose. Ah sell mi sell it like seh mi have a store … 1 million plus tax fi a key. Tell a rat don’t ramp wid me cheese, di alien dem a go capture yuh fi it, bear shot tek yuh, bear crocodile teet.”

The music video depicts each scene of Skilli’s scheme, from jetting timeworn fishing boats heading to the crash site at sea to the deejay sitting inside and occasionally atop the half-sunken aircraft while dishing his lyrical plot.

However, Skillibeng is getting some mixed reactions from the fans.

“How Skillibeng shoot a video with the plane that’s under “investigation”?” said one Twitter user. Another said, “Yow tell the Commissioner seh “the plane crash wid di coke” and someone else added, “Police a look fi Skillibeng- Coke.”

While some enjoyed, Skilli’s new release others didn’t feel the effort mattered, referring to the track as weak, “If skillibeng next 3 song flop it’s over cause coke plane never hit lmao,” said one follower, and another concurred, “Skillibeng must’ve thought he made it so far he got the Midas touch. He’s mistaken. Sorry to say but ine think Coke is it bro.”

Skillibeng needs a little quality control,” said another fan.
