Dancehall artiste Aidonia and his wife have responded to claims that they were booted from their home.

Word on the street is that Aidonia was evicted from his St. Andrew-based home for outstanding rental fees. There is no proof of the outlandish claim, which was made on a popular local blog site recently but the news is certainly getting his cynics a tad bit excited.

In Instagram Stories on Vybz Kartel’s official page last night, the incarcerated deejay wrote, “Den ho it so hype n still a pay rent? Jus move bk een wid u parent.”

Another slide followed: “When u is a luke warm b-class artiste for your entire career it wicked eno,” expressing what could be his assessment as to why this supposedly “hype” person still pays rent.

The 4th Genna boss’ wife, Kimberly Megan, seemingly responded to the rumors while out on the town on Sunday night with friends and evidently having a good time.  In her Instagram Story, Megan jokingly referred to herself as evicted in a share which she captioned, “Watch evicted,” while smiling and vibing to the party.

Meanwhile, Aidonia finally clapped back today in an Instagram post saying, “Me live inna dem brain RENT FREE!!!”

The post also included a preview of his upcoming track and video titled, Dat Easy, which is produced by Chimney Records.

Fans have been coming to the couple’s defense with some commending Megan for clapping back in this rare moment, as she doesn’t usually get caught up with the buzz online. “’Watch evicted’, same so sis,” said one person. “All unno do a walk and spread rumours.”

As far as the 4th Genna supporters are concerned, Aidonia and his wife are legitimate homeowners so this latest gossip couldn’t be farther from the truth.“I don’t believe it’s eviction from their home. Kimberly is hard-working and smart. Annuh just looks, girl a hustle before Aidonia and ambitious, she would never be living in a rented home and don’t own nowhere…”

Another added, “Well them buy a house last year still.”

Other Aidonia fans savagely reminded the Worl’ Boss of his current situation in prison. “Kartel better go empty the bucket and stop the folkery,” quipped one user.

Are u paying rent @Vybz_Kartel or is tax payers paying it for u?” said another. Kartel a tlk bout living conditions???” questioned one.

Kartel and Aidonia have been feuding for years, with their last squabble occurring in April 2020 when the incarcerated star asserted his dominance over the genre in a series of wild Instagram posts that lashed out at several prominent deejays. Kartel’s murder conviction was upheld when the Jamaican Court of Appeal delivered its verdict earlier that month.

Aidonia responded then by expressing concern for Kartel’s mental health behind bars.
