Veteran artiste Anthony Cruz is set to release four albums in the next couple of months, with the first being released with Tads International within the next few weeks.

“You know with the pandemic and thing, the times of release push back but they are scheduled to be released anytime soon,” he said.

Two singles from the Tads International album will be released soon to promote the album. Videos promoting singles of the album which have been completed include  ‘Oh Lord’ which was set in Blue Mountain, and the ‘Jah Cruz Medley’ video was done in St. Elizabeth.

He has three other albums which he hopes will be released in 2021.

“I have also completed a 16 track album with King Jammys and another with a studio called Peckings in the United Kingdom. We have an album completed with Bobby Digital who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. So we just waiting to see what will happen,” Cruz said.

As a reggae singer, Cruz believes that albums are more productive endeavours because of the possibility of marketing, merchandising and touring income streams.

“We have a whole bunch of singles completed but it makes no sense releasing a single so it’s best to drop an album when you’re a singer because of touring. It’s more substantial when it comes to reggae music,” he said.

Anthony Cruz also has lots of singles completed and the videos which will be shot in 2021. Some of the singles in the pipeline include ‘Give Thanks’, ‘Discrimination Should Be A Crime’ and ‘If You Were Here Tonight’ which was produced by Tall T in Florida.

“We are just looking for great things from the album. Not because you don’t hear me means no work. Once there is life, there will always be work. 2021 is going to be amazing, I have put everything in place, I have used the pandemic to write some good songs, so things are going to be blazing in 2021, my meditation higher, I have evolved more with my Rastafarian faith, we’re going full force and make everybody proud,” he said.
