The St. Ann South East Member of Parliament and People’s National Party President (PNP) hopeful Lisa Hanna had her interview on Television Jamaica’s programme All Angles go viral because of one sentence.

Hanna was on All Angles discussing her run for president of the PNP. However, the fact that she won her seat in the recent General Elections in what was described as a “safe seat” by a mere 32 votes has haunted her. When asked about her margin of victory and the diminished PNP turnout by veteran journalist, Dionne Jackson Miller, Hanna said something that has jokingly dubbed her “artist of the year” because she spat “bars” according to Reggae star Protoje.

Miss Hanna said, “It’s not about a margin because if 32 of us did win by 32 votes we would be skinning our 32 teeth right now because we’d be in government.”

After she said this, Protoje reacted on Twitter and quoted the MP by saying, “If 32 of us did win by 32 votes we would be skinning our 32 teeth. “then followed up with, “Not go lie those are BARS!!!”.

Many of his followers agreed with one saying, “Lisa = artist of the year” and “Dope Bars”. One even said Lisa Hanna should drop an album.
