In.Digg.Nation founder, Protoje has released an official music video for his single, Still I Wonder today.

The new production comes five weeks after the debut of his fifth studio album, In Search Of Lost Time on which the official audio for the track is featured. Protoje also released a simplistic visualizer for the song in late August around the same time, where we find him dishing the verses of the track inside what appears to be his recording studio.

Now the 39-year-old Reggae singer is giving fans something more to see and enjoy as he reenacts the disconcerting plot of the song. “Seems like I’ve been asking for too much from you, paying no attention to the things you do. Thinking of myself not what I’ve put you through, it’s unfair to ask you for a chance so true, but Still I Wonder,” he sings on the hook and fusses with his beau on camera.

It’s present day, on a vast balcony overlooking a picturesque landscape, Protoje has his hands full as his riled-up girl tackles him while he pleads his unrealistic case. Other scenes flicker to happier times, when the two would take romantic walks up the mountainside and he taught her how to play the guitar.

The video apparently was inspired by Protoje’s real-life rise to stardom and the struggles he faced in his personal life on the way up, as he explains:

“I remember doing this video right before we got the news that the world was going to be shut down because of the pandemic. What should’ve taken two days to do, we did it in a half a day. The video really tells the story about coming from humble beginnings – when life was fun and simple. Then after making it, it’s like more money, more problems, especially when it comes to personal relationships. It goes back to the theme of the entire album, In Search of Lost Time. When you’re in pursuit of success, sometimes the things around you suffer.”

Produced by Protoje’s own label, In.Digg.Nation Collective, on behalf of Six Course Music and RCA Records, check out the new music video for Still I Wonder here –
