Dancehall rising star Twani Price said that he’s getting ready to launch a fan competition to accompany his latest single Long Distance.

Twani Price who teamed-up with social media personality Prince Pine for the track, said he would be giving something back to his loyal fans, explaining that he would be launching a contest that will see at least one lucky fan getting a hotel stay.

The artiste said details of the contest would be made available by the end of the week, as he and his management team are still ironing out some of the details.

He further shared that the competition is in line with Long Distance which is quickly becoming a favorite in the dancehall space.

The single which was released over Heroes Weekend, sees the two artistes, who have collaborated in the past, addressing the issues associated with long distance relationships.

“A whole lot of persons are gravitating to the new song because they can relate to the challenges of a long distance relationship especially if you don’t get to spend time in person often,” Twani told DancehallMag.

“When you have a relationship with someone far away like in another country or parish, the time you get to spend together is even more special so you should make that time count, that’s what we were depicting in the video as well,” Twani added.

Twani Price further shared that with “Long Distance” he took a more serious approach, as it relates, to the lyrical content of the song and sought to offer viewers a more mature style.

The artiste, who recently graduated from the University of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, said his studies have influenced his perspective on the type of music he wants to produce and has also changed his attitude towards the music industry.

“It’s a business and I’m taking music as seriously as I did my education. Best believe I’ll be utilizing everything I learned in my own career as well,” Twani said.

Back in 2017 Price and Prince Pine collaborated on a freestyle for Cashflow Rinse called Same Girl, as well as, in 2018 they worked together on Ben Ova which has more than 3 million views on YouTube.
