The 6ix Boss, Squash is an unstoppable force, as he hits YouTube Trending yet again among Jamaican listeners.

The Dancehall deejay is currently holding down the No. 1 spot on YouTube for videos popular on the island with his single Still A Roam. This is certainly no new feat for the Salt Spring / Montego Bay native, being a frequent in such vicinity.

The new track has garnered more than 300k views since the music video released on October 25. Produced by Wikid Media, the 6ix Crew trailblazer is captured in scenes displaying his lavish lifestyle while he flaunts his millions, supplemented by a narration of his high spending habit despite what the “chatty chatty” people are saying in the streets.

In what appears to be a comeback to rumors, which claims the deejay isn’t as ‘rich’ as he portrays himself to be, Squash says he Still A Roam – “Bout the singer poor… ask Mobay if you never know. Before the music me been ring eh phone. Money mi bring it home. None a dem nuh in a fi mi class, so how the f**k dem want size up with the boss,” he lyrics to shutdown the fibbers. With the unforeseen slow-down in the music industry and subsequent live shows so far this year, many have speculated that the 6ix Boss’ glory days may be behind him. Still A Roam, however, is simply another assertion that the Trending deejay’s money is still up.

Artiste manager Heavy D is also resolute that Squash and his 6ix crewmembers, i.e. Chronic Law and Daddy 1 especially, aren’t going anywhere, any time soon. “Mi nuh know why people a say dem nah hear from the 6ix because di man dem still a drop a whole portion a song although nothing nah really gwaan in a music right now. Between Daddy 1, Chronic Law and Squash alone, the 6ix still a lead,” he said.

Heavy D continued to argue that their dominance on YouTube alone is a testament to the havoc the group will again wreak on the music industry once entertainment gets up and running. “A dem man yah a di future of music innu. Di man dem have so much bad song, 2021 nah go normal. Di man dem a record every day, a do video every day and everything dem put out, hit …Di man dem a go come out a quarantine stronger dan ever. A whole heap a thing a go gwaan when the place open up again,” Heavy D said in an interview with The Star a month ago.

Squash’s October 9 release, Fear Nobody is also on the Trending 20 Jamaica charts and his popular, Potus has streamed passed 1M views since its release in late September.
