D’Angel Responds To Beenie Man’s Criticism Of Her OnlyFans Model Career
Beenie Man’s criticism of his ex-wife D’Angel joining OnlyFans doesn’t concern her because the Dancehall singer and model says she is raking in the cash.
D’Angel made the comments while responding to Beenie Man’s opinion of her joining the adult-only platform during an interview with the Jamaica Star.
The Ah Mine singer said: “Joining OnlyFans is one of the best things I have ever done; I plan to be on the next list of top earners on the site. I won’t reveal the number of subscribers I have presently or how much I have made through the platform, but me can buy a house.”
During a lengthy and probing interview with popular YouTube channel Teach Dem on September 29, Beenie Man expressed his concern for their son Marco Dean when he was asked how he felt about the leak of D’Angel’s nudes from OnlyFans which occurred in July.
“She supposed to think bout that, I can’t tell har fi think bout har yute,” Beenie Man, whose real name is Anthony Moses, said. He added: “Me and har talk bout it, yuh know…cah mi call har and ask har dat and she ah seh she haffi do this and do that…she neva have to do that, but she did it.”
D’Angel, whose real name is Michelle Downer, is evidently getting paid as she was recently shopping for a new Porsche. She told STAR that she feels more confident about the modeling part of her career since joining OnlyFans. “It wasn’t until I went on OnlyFans that I realised the demand. I am a model; my body is aesthetically pleasing and all the images are tastefully done like art that, in itself, I am,” she added.
She continued on to say that she would not ever judge what mothers have to do to put food on the table.
“I don’t discriminate what mothers do to provide for their children and in no way does what I am doing dictate the type of mother I am. A lot of the top content creators like Cardi B are parents and it is another source of income. Me haffi guh hard as a mother.”
She also revealed that before getting involved with the platform she ran the idea by her mother who told her that as an adult she would have to make the ultimate decision. She also said that contrary to what Beenie Man said in the interview she did not seek his approval.
“I never checked with him (Beenie Man) for approval; we have to do what we have to, to provide for our families especially when nothing is going on in entertainment,” she said.
The One Man singer also said that she explained what was happening to her son after the nudes were leaked.
“When the pictures leaked, we sat down and had a mother-son heart-to-heart before anybody else showed him what was circulating. Marco Dean is doing fine, in his own world and sensible,” she said.
She also took to Instagram to reassure her fans that she intends to continue showing off her beauty and that she would not be detracted by naysayers.
