Dancehall songstress has revealed that her hit record Blessed could have had some featured verses from American rapper Cardi B.

During an Instagram Live Q&A session on Friday, the ‘Shenyeng’ boss said that she and her team actually tried to get WAP rapper on what many believe to be Shenseea’s breakout track in mainstream music.

However, she was quick to point out that she would still be open to working with the top female rapper in the future, and most persons would certainly be anxious to see what could happen between the two beauties. “We were actually trying to get Cardi B on for Blessed, but it didn’t work out, so hopefully the next one,” Shenseea told fans.

Things didn’t turn out too bad as the song became a success for the Interscope/VP Records signee as Tyga was brought in, and he added some star power to the 2019 track, which has over 44 million views on YouTube.

It also seems that her focus has not waned because of that, as she has gone on to do more mainstream work with the latest effort being IDKW in which she collaborated with record producer Rvssian and which featured rappers Swae Lee and Young Thug.

She also took the opportunity to dish some personal info with fans, including her love of food and the eerie idea that her death could happen from eating or possibly an orgasm.

She also cleared up rumors about her being pregnant and also revealed plans about her possibly wanting to venture into an acting career where she wants to do action-themed films.

Managed by Romeich of Romeich Entertainment, Shenseea has the world at her feet, although things have been curtailed by the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

She got her big break into music through a remixing of a song by Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel. The song entitled Loodi led to the young female artiste becoming a household name in Jamaica and across the world.
