Zagga and Kabaka Pyramid have released some controversial verses in their new single titled Jamaica Wah Gwaan. In the sensational track, they cover issues faced by Jamaicans including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kabaka makes mention of the recent public outcry after the Supreme Court of Jamaica ruled that a school did violate a child’s constitutional rights who was not allowed in classes because of her locs.  The singer did not mince words when he voiced his strong disapproval for the handling of the situation.

Zagga took to Twitter to further support his lyrics by addressing the lack of social distancing in public spaces. He expressed his distaste in the way how the government treated gatherings during the campaign for the recent elections by not strictly enforcing the protocols. Zagga contrasted that to putting a ban on funerals with no regard for family members.

The likes of Robbo Ranx, Keznamdi and Seani B have tweeted in support of the contemporary hit. Jamaica Wah Gwaan is out now on all major platforms.
