Jada Kingdom Reacts To Normani’s Cameo In ‘WAP’
Popular Jamaican Dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom revealed that she has finally watched the official music video for WAP and took to Twitter to share her thoughts on American celeb Normani’s cameo in the video.
“So I finally had to time to sit and watch the WAP music video … I love it & I also love Normani, met her before. BUT I think she’s too much of a saint to be featured in this vid. “There’s some hoes in this house” except for Normani. a betta dem did call mi dwl,” she said in a Tweet today.
The WAP video features other popular females, such as Kylie Jenner, Rosalia, and rappers Mulatto, Sukihana, and Ruby Rose. The ladies are seen gyrating and pulsating while American rappers Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion do their thing.
For those who don’t know, Normani is a singer/dancer who first became popular in 2012 when she auditioned as a solo act on the American television series, the X-Factor. On the show, she became a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony which eventually won the competition.

The female sexuality portrayed in WAP has been criticized for being too ‘vulgar’ and for its use of young stars like Normani and Kylie, who are followed by millions of impressionable teen fans. Others argue that both Normani and Kylie are now grown women, looking to shed the “good girl” / “saint” labels they may have.
WAP is No. 1 on the Billboard 100 songs chart for the second week, and the video has been one of the most talked-about releases this summer with so far 132 million views since August 6.
Dancehall stars Vybz Kartel and Ishawna jumped into the fray with extra raunchy remixes of the hit song, which were both given the stamp of approval from Cardi B.
Fans also commented on the WiN singer’s tweet today, some agreeing with her:
