Unruly protégé Quada is back with some new heat on his latest’s song titled ‘Nah Change’. While the intensity at which the lyrics are being delivered feels very much like what a Quada track should feel like, the flow has some difference to it. He brings that gangster flow and energy, though the track is still on the softer side.

Nah Change has a staggering 73,000 views on YouTube since being released 4 days ago and appears on the Pree Life Riddim alongside Konshens‘s Doh Care, Jahvillani‘s Neva Say Neva, and Shaneo‘s Appreciation.

When it comes to the lyrical content, the title of the track speaks for itself, as Quada elaborates to his friends that he is not going to change from who he is. Naturally, on the way to success, there will be quite a few speed bumps whether it is lack of motivation, disloyal and fake people or society problems.

The Hail hitmaker communicates to his fans that the struggles he goes through only make him strong mentally. He further tells his fans that even the toughest times have not changed him for the worst. The artiste deejays “ Real youts knows what a gwaan, anytime yuh change your life gone.” the vibe of the songs feels like a conversation between two friends which begs the questions, could it be linked in some way to court changes awaiting him next month?

Despite making being in the music business for sometime and securing a corner of dancehall for himself, Quada has had some better days, especially with the law. Recently, Quada whose real name is Shaquelle Clarke was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement in a mob killing that took place in sterling Castle Heights. The victim Miguel Williams was beaten and set alight by a mob of angry residents who suspected that he was responsible for the rape and gruesome murder o an innocent 8-year-old girl. The artist has been in and out of court and is scheduled to attend court on March 5, 2020, to answer the charges.

From the look of things, Quada is probably telling his friends and close associates that he is not going to change in case the court ruling doesn’t favor him. Throughout the song, he shows a lot of love to his mentor Popcaan and his unruly crew in general.
