The song’s lyrics call on listeners to show their appreciation to a higher power as Shaneo himself gives thanks for his fruitful musical journey and his many blessings. “You fi love Jah, a weh you a wait pan. Mine yuh lose your blessings and go back a square one”, the artist deejays in the song.

The song has already resonated with dancehall fans, who have applauded Shaneo for his uplifting lyrics. “Honestly i was feeling down all evening and since listening to this song I felt much better, nuff respect S.O.R BOSS”, said one comment under the official video, while another fan wrote, “Only artist so versatile and hitting hard with lyrics … reality music”.

The video, directed by African Kydd, has also struck a chord with fans for its insightful and inspiring introduction. In the first 20-seconds of the video is an elderly man, sitting in a wheelchair. The 70-year-old man, who lost his ability to walk at three years due to Polio, offers a piece of advice that he has lived by; saying that no matter what the circumstances are, you should always continue to try to find your way through life.

Over the last three years, Shaneo has had one of the best career comebacks in recent dancehall history. The artist tasted early success while he was still in high school, with his dancehall hits “Lightning Flash” in 2004, and “Crab Inna Barrell” in 2008.

After keeping out of the public eye for almost a decade while he tried to navigate the local music industry, Shane O was back on the scene with a slew of hits. His 2018 singles,  “A Million”, “Last Days” and “Partner Draw” have each racked up over a million views on Youtube and received heavy airplay. Now the artiste is moving aggressively to establish his own record label, SOR Records, by signing two new artistes, Psalms and Judge.
