Perhaps intended to be a new year’s gift to his fans, young dancehall artiste Intence released the music video for his new single, Critics on December 31, 2019.

After an unrestrained year of lyrical unbridling, the hardcore sound of Intence, whose real name is Tashawn Gabbidon, is explored through the lens of producer TroyBoss Music.

Set in a minimalistic scene production, the video opens depicting the artist in his own space, probably home; where he expresses disgust, yet acquiesce toward a request for another interview. The scenes of the last 4 minutes of the video was set in a single office design. Injected between the supposed home and office scene, were momentary clips of partial imagery, in which the artist and his entourage are assumed to be proceeding to the office location.

The music video’s representation of the critics was captured in the presence of three journalists who nonchalantly and in almost laudable fear, addressed their questions to the artist, who in turn disregards their questions in lyrical separation from their assertions; further justified by disclosing his engagements and approach in dealing with males and females, as well as the professional and unprofessional.

One dancehall fan said, “The success if this video may not be realized. At least, it will not be as loved as is popular as ‘Go Hard’ video, which right now has over 3 million views”.
