Vybz Kartel Teases Official Video For ‘Then You And Me’
Vybz Kartel has teased a preview of his new music video for the track ‘Then You and Me’. The snippet posted from the video, which is directed by Jay Williams features an older couple who look like they may be having some marital issues.
Kartel dropped the teaser on his Instagram account and he also revealed that the full video would be available on Christmas Day. The post already has more than 700 comments as fans continue to call for this release. Several fans indicated their support using the fire emojis.
Then You and Me is different from Vybz Kartel’s usual high tempo tracks and the artiste shows a bit of his vulnerable side. The track will appear on his upcoming album, To Tanesha which is scheduled for release on January 10th, 2020. The album is dedicated to his decade-long common law wife Tanesha Jackson, better known as Shorty. We last heard that they were separated.
The song focuses on a couple who continually harms each other in a perpetually hurtful cycle.
Some of the lyrics show his pain:

Another verse refers to a previous relationship:
“People wait till when you’re down
