Flippa Mafia

Flippa Mafia is a Jamaican dancehall deejay, entertainer, and actor known for hit songs such as Mi Nuh Bruk, Safe House, Wells Fargo, Unfinished House, and Dem Yah. Nicknamed the “Flossing King,” he became one of the most recognizable figures in dancehall during the mid-2000s due to his extravagant lifestyle, energetic performances, and appearances at major Caribbean and U.S. dancehall events. He also portrayed “John John” in the cult Jamaican crime film Shottas. Despite his musical popularity, his career became overshadowed by legal troubles. In 2016, he was convicted in New Jersey on cocaine distribution, money laundering, and conspiracy charges, receiving a 25-year prison sentence. After being released on parole, he was again indicted in 2026 on federal drug conspiracy charges involving alleged trafficking of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.
