Lucki wasn’t the only person bleeding in that ComplexCon parking lot on Saturday. Law enforcement sources now say multiple people were stabbed when a clash between the Chicago rapper’s crew and Playboi Carti’s entourage spiraled out of control, and the LAPD is investigating it as attempted murder.
According to AllHipHop, the fight left four people injured. Three were stabbed and one was taken to the hospital, a far messier picture than the first reports, which centered almost entirely on Lucki.
The violence reportedly broke out around 4:40 P.M. and started with something completely ordinary. Lucki was taking photos with fans when tensions between the two camps boiled over into a full-scale brawl at one of the biggest streetwear and culture events on the calendar.
Footage circulating online shows Lucki getting into a car with blood on his face before being moved to the back seat. The clip spread fast, and it’s the image most people now attach to the whole story.

Carti’s role is where things get murkier. He was at the scene, but reports say he appeared to watch from his vehicle’s window rather than take part in the physical fight himself.
That distinction matters, because the alleged beef is being framed as a conflict between associates rather than the two artists squaring up. For fans of both rappers, the overlap stings a little.
Lucki has spent years building a devoted following on his own terms, with hazy, confessional projects that made him a cult favorite well beyond Chicago. Carti, meanwhile, is coming off a massive 2025 after finally releasing MUSIC, the long-delayed album that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Police aren’t treating this as a scuffle that got out of hand. Calling it attempted murder signals that investigators see real intent behind the stabbings, and authorities are still working to figure out how many suspects were involved in what reports describe as a coordinated attack.

So far, no arrests have been announced. Nobody from either camp has publicly explained what sparked the confrontation, and the origins of the alleged tension remain unclear.
Lucki offered one small sign of life early Sunday morning with a post to his Instagram Story. It suggested he’s up and aware of what’s going on, though his full condition still hasn’t been confirmed.
Carti hasn’t addressed the incident publicly. With the LAPD still piecing together who did what in that parking lot, more details are likely to surface in the coming days.
