Stefflon Don Sells Part Of Catalog In Reported $8 Million Deal
Stefflon Don has struck a new catalog deal with HarbourView Equity Partners, giving the investment firm rights to some of her compositions and recordings released before 2024.
The deal covers the British-Jamaican artist’s earlier body of work, including 16 Shots, Hurtin’ Me, Boasty, Senseless, and Can’t Let You Go, according to a release issued Wednesday.
Financial terms were not revealed in the release, but her label, 54 London, disclosed on Instagram that the deal was valued at $8 million.
“Ownership and legacy are everything to me,” Stefflon Don said in the release. “HarbourView came in with a real understanding of my vision and my journey. I’m excited to partner with a team that respects the culture and is invested in where I’m going next.”
HarbourView, based in Newark, New Jersey, said the investment adds to its growing music portfolio, which includes compositions and recordings across multiple genres. The company said it has acquired more than 70 music catalogs since launching in 2021.
“At HarbourView, we invest in artists who are shaping culture across genres and generations,” said Sherrese Clarke, Founder and CEO of HarbourView. “Stefflon Don is a singular voice with global impact, and we’re proud to partner with her to help preserve, amplify, and unlock new value from her catalog while supporting her continued creative evolution.”
Stefflon Don, whose catalog moves between Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, and Pop, has built one of the more visible crossover careers among British artists with Caribbean roots. Her breakout single 16 Shots remains one of her signature Dancehall-leaning records, while Hurtin’ Me, featuring French Montana, helped to widen her reach internationally.
The deal also comes as Stefflon prepares a new run of music. HarbourView said she has three back-to-back singles planned, along with collaborations involving French rapper Leto, Dutch DJ and producer Don Diablo, and a Dancehall record with Skillibeng and Vybz Kartel.
HarbourView said it has roughly US$3.88 billion in regulatory assets under management as of December 31, 2025, and a wider portfolio of about 41,000 songs across master recordings and publishing income streams.
