Ras Murdak Energizes ‘Ancestral Dance’

Rastafarian deejay Ras Murdak aka VikingsRasta believes that there are wisdoms and lessons that black people have inherited in their bodies. That is why he is advocating his ‘Ancestral Dance’ single with an accompanying dance move to put Jamaicans in touch with their ancestral spirits and energies.

“The inspiration for this project is the rass-pect for the motherland and lending a voice in fun in spirit and in truth. The song is already getting traction in regions of Africa, Europe and USA, and I am going to plug di grung now in Jamaica,” he said.

In order to amp up the promotion, he has inked a one year promotional deal with two of the dancehall’s top dance talents, Gabbidon and Colo Colo to conceptualize and promote the ‘Ancestral Dance’.

“Gabbi ah mi David House bredda, Colo Colo ah work wid Ras Murdak from Annetta dem days so it’s just a family. We were always cool so both are now Ambassadors of the Ancestral Dance, signed and sealed,” Ras Myrhdak said.

The promotion of the song and dance is essential to the artiste’s mission to bring balance and speak truth into the lives of his fellow Jamaicans. He also wants to unite the Afrikan dancers and Jamaican dancers and forge a bridge between the Caribbean and the ‘African Motherland’.

“Let the natives know that we are spiritual ,not religious and we are sending back Jesus to his rightful home and invoke our ancestors’ spirits with what they love most: dancing,” he said.

Ras Murdak has done extensive research in ancestral trauma that finds that traumatic events in one lifetime can be passed down genetically to offspring.

“As you know, that’s what I have always been teaching about on my TruthGlobal covenant that went viral on TikTok. And the world deserves to know balance and that all people are one people, one music, one soul. Big up the Motherland Alkebulan, we are welcoming back our ancestors with these ancestral ceremonies,” he said.

Ancestral ceremonies support individuals, communities, and spirits to see each other beyond this material world, and assist individuals and communities to connect to ancestors as a source of wisdom and power.

Murdak said that the song will be included in his upcoming album which will be released in the fall.

“This is just the mission,” he said.

Ras Murdak scored a huge number one with ‘Blazer’ on local and international reggae charts over a decade ago that established him as the reigning ‘Prince of Fire’. He has since migrated and lives overseas where he continues to do music.
