Winnie Harlow

A score of local and foreign celebs were spotted in their feathers, glitz, and barely-there costumes for Jamaica Carnival 2023.

Revelers among the Kingston road march on Sunday (April 16) may have caught glimpses of a few celebrity faces, including some surprising ones who traveled from overseas to join one of the island’s most epic festivities.

Omarion

Joining GenXs Carnival were American singer Omarion and his brother O’Ryan. They two, who were “HAVING A BALL” as they put it, danced and vibed with their section’s band.

Chance the Rapper

The No Problem rapper, who was celebrating his birthday on Carnival Day (April 16), was spotted jumping with the Exodus Carnival band and having the time of his life.

Winnie Harlow

Canadian-Jamaican fashion model Winnie Harlow was not going to be outdone at this year’s Carnival. The 28-year-old Top Model went all out at Jouvert’s wild paint party on Saturday before taking on the main parade on Sunday – all decked in the David Dewer-designed ‘Sunken Treasure’ costume for the GenXs section.

Aidonia and Kimberly Megan

Dancehall star, Aidonia and his wife Kimberly Megan were quite the spectacle at Sunday’s parade. Kimberly opted for Xodus’s elaborate ‘Red Velvet’ costume designed by David Dewer, while the 4th Genna boss kept it casual in an all-white Amiri, t-shirt and shorts outfit. Besides ‘behaving bad’ in the customary fêteting antics, the Frsh Drop deejay later took the stage and entertained revellers at the ‘Campari Boulevard’ after-party on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston.

D’Angel

Donning GenXs’ ‘Mystic Peaks’ xtra coverage monokini, Dancehall singer D’Angel stepped out like the diva she is to party in the streets, with many stops along the way to take pics with her fans.

Pamputtae

Pamputtae was her usual ball of energy, jumping in the parade wearing Yard Mas’s vibrant ‘Oshun’ costume. The Dancehall star joined fellow deejay Ding Dong on the Campari truck during the street parade to perform several of her hit songs to boost the crowd.

Yanique Curvy Diva

Curvy Diva was a hard number to miss rocking GenXs’s ‘Luminous Lagoon’ costume. The TV personality/Dancehall singer brought the vibe while masquerading and dancing in the streets.

Naomi Cowan

Jamaican singer Naomi Cowan came out stunting last Sunday in what she says was “My first JA carnival.” The singer wore a shimmery silver ensemble.

Stalk Ashley

Wearing Xodus Carnival’s ‘Licorice’ was Jamaican singer Stalk Ashley joining in on the festivities.

Moyann

Also rocking Xodus Carnival’s ‘Licorice’ costume was Dancehall singer Moyann. The No Limit singer held nothing back showing off her racy dancing skills.

TC Chatman

Dancer, TC Chatman looked stunning in her GenXs ‘Chasing Waterfalls’ costume during the road march. Besides showing out in the David Dewer design, the former Team Spice dancer showed revellers how carnival feteting in the street is really done.

Asafa Powell and Alyshia Miller- Powell

Asafa Powell and wife Alyshia Miller- Powell did their section’s costume proud wearing his and hers fits in ‘Jewel of the Jungle,’ designed by Jessica Campbell.
