Dancehall entertainer Shaneil Muir is expanding her brand with a salon and hair care company inside the Catherine Hall Plaza in Montego Bay, to be opened on March 17.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Muir revealed that the new venture, dubbed Shaneil Muir’s Exclusive Collectionz, has been her passion project for several months, and that she’s been making major strides thanks to her team, which includes her soon-to-be husband.

“Wheew! I have been working on this HANDS-ON! For the past three months. Firstly before we even get to that part I want to thank the Heavenly Father for ALL he has done, is doing and is about to do. I am forever grateful and thankful through all things,” she wrote, alongside a reel set to Jah Vinci‘s motivational Affi Mek It (2018).

She thanked her fiancé, who remained unidentified, and the other members of the ‘Xclusive’ team.

“I also want to thank him for blessing me with the PERFECT HUMAN BEING (my fiancé💍) GOD IS GOOD 🙏🏾,” she continued. “Thank you baby for being there ALL THE WAY THROUGH – I love you ❤️.”

Speaking to the Star about the move, the Top Gyal singer explained that there’s a high demand for the products that she will be offering.

“Apart from being a Montegonian, and a woman who has had challenges with finding the right hair and hair care needs within the community and in the surrounding areas, I’ve always thought there is a need for more of these businesses and I’m ready to fill that gap because I’m yet to see a store like mine in the parish,” she said.

The report also stated that the entertainer will have, among other things, “the highest grade 12A hair bundles” which can be installed at the salon as well as other hair supplies including tools and cosmetics.

“The team I have is made up of some of the best of the best, and I’m looking forward to doing great work and delivering top class and exclusive customer service with them. I’m also excited to provide quality products, and we cater to different hair types and will also have hair of different textures,” she added.

Muir has evidently been pulling out all the stops to make her vision materialize based on a sneak peek of the space poster on Instagram on Saturday (March 4).

Last October, the Exclusive singer declared that she would be getting baptized to do “God’s work,” and finally find peace, happiness, and salvation.

At the time, she said she would complete all previously arranged obligations before making the leap.

However, she has not said much more about the transition, and instead told the Star that she remains open-minded to getting back inside the booth.

“This top girl has gone into entrepreneurship, so the opening of the store is my main priority but definitely I will be continuing music. Obviously, I cannot destroy or remove that part of me because it is part of what makes me who I am. Music remains in the play. For example, if an international act or one of my peers requires my talent, it just depends on what such is about and I may or may not take part in it, it all depends on the nature of the business as well. It’s fair to say I will be doing whatever my mind tells me.”

She added: “I’ll be producing or creating music that is solely about who I have always been. So music lovers are going to get something that makes sense from Shaneil Muir. I haven’t thought too far into the future just yet, but I’ll see what happens, mi jussa tek it one step at a time, mi nah rush it.”
