Koffee has made her debut on three new Billboard charts thanks to Gimme, a Dancehall collaboration by English singer Sam Smith, which featured the Jamaican singer and Canadian singer Jesse Reyez.

Released on January 11, the song debuted at No. 167 on the Billboard Global 200 chart dated January 28, and at No. 179 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart.  It has also opened at No. 75 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 dated January 28.

These are Koffee’s first entries on the three Billboard charts.

Her breakout hit Toast (2019) had only entered three Airplay charts in the US, peaking at No. 47 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, No. 24 on the Billboard Rap Airplay chart, and No. 37 on the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart that year.

Gimme marks Smith’s 26th entry on the Canadian Hot 100, and their 9th entries on the Global 200 and Global Excl. 200 charts.

It also earned Reyez her first entries on the Global 200 and Global Excl. 200 charts, and her sixth entry on the Canadian Hot 100.

The song’s official music video has so far picked up 2 million views on YouTube, while the audio has received over 9 million plays on Spotify.

In the UK, it opened at No. 60 on the UK Singles chart and at No. 35 on the UK Hip-Hop/R&B Singles chart.

Produced by Anju Blaxx, Norwegian duo Stargate, and Jimmy Napes, Gimme will appear on Smith’s upcoming album Gloria, set for release on January 27.

Smith’s first single from their album Unholy with Kim Petras topped the Billboard Hot 100 in October 2022. At the time, Billboard noted that the pair were the first publicly non-binary and transgender soloists to reach No. 1 on the chart.

Koffee’s Grammy Award-winning Rapture (2019) EP spent 47 weeks on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, peaking at No. 1, while her Gifted (2022) album has so far spent 39 weeks on the chart, after it peaked at No. 2.

Gifted, which was the best-selling Jamaican album to be released in 2022, is nominated for Best Reggae Album at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
