Giggs, Teejay Team Up For New Jazzy T-Produced Track ‘Dog Mout’: Watch

British rapper Giggs and Teejay have joined forces for a brand new release Dog Mout, thanks to legendary sound system selector Tarik ‘Jazzy T’ Thompson.

The new Jay Will-directed music video premiered yesterday, Friday, November 18, capturing sights of inner-city Jamaica and its distinctive street vibes. The South London emcee mobs heavy with his Montego Bay counterpart among a crew, while in the company of a few skimpily clad ladies dancing to the beat.

Last summer, Giggs was spotted on the island with Teejay filming the visuals alongside Jazzy T, and BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Seani B, who both made cameos in new release.

While coming up with the production for Dog Mout, Jazzy T revealed he first approached Teejay to voice on the record. He then sent his verse to Giggs to see if he was feeling it. “When I got back the song from Giggs, I was like ‘Wow … he turned the song into a whole monster’” the producer told the Jamaica Star.

Hailing from completely different parts of the globe, the track talks up their street-cred, which both artists are well known for: “You think mi full a teeth like Dog Mout, mi full a gun like commando,” Teejay warns in his verses of the track.

Giggs, who is originally from Peckham, takes over the next segment: “We the classiest, nasty, fed up ah yuh nastiness … old school Beenie Man and make me cross yuh bridge, she love bad man …. I’m not innocent, f**k a miracle, I ride with the killers dem…”

This is not the first time around the block for Giggs to collaborate with a Dancehall artist. The rapper recorded Gunshot with Stylo G in 2011 and Times Tickin’ with Popcaan in 2017.

The past few months have seen Giggs steadily building momentum with well-received singles like Juggin, Time, and Da Maximum.

Teejay continues churning out his usual crowd-pleasers. People dropped in September to rack up over 3.3 million views, following others such as Gunman Fiesta, Bad Gyal and Chalk Out .
