Shenseea Among First-Time Nominees At 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards
Jamaican artist Shenseea has been nominated for the Best Push Act at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs). This is the second MTV nomination the Good Comfort artist has received this year.
The MTV EMA 2022 will be hosted for the sixth time in Germany, at the multi-functional indoor arena PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf. The ceremony will be broadcast live on MTV in more than 170 countries on November 13.
The Push Award has been around since 2009 and it is an award given to the Best Breakthrough artist of the year.
Shenseea is going up against the following new artists:

In August 2022, Shenseea attended the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey, where she was nominated for Push Performance Of The Year; for her performance of R U That on the MTV Push platform.
However, that award went to the South Korean boy band, SEVENTEEN.
Styled by LA stylist Kris Fe, Shenseea wore a complete Marc Jacobs ss22 ensemble. The look came in for high praises all around the web but none was more astounding than the one from Marc Jacobs himself, who commented, “🔥🔥🔥gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️”, on Kris Fe’s Instagram post.
The 1st Europe Music Awards ceremony was held in 1994 at Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.
In 2003, Sean Paul won the MTV EMA Best New Artist award and was also nominated for Best Song for Get Busy.
In 2017, Paul copped a Best Song nomination for Clean Bandit’s Rockabye with Anne-Marie.
