Nicki Minaj Calls Up Eight Caribbean Girls For New Remix Of Skeng’s ‘Likkle Miss’

Rallying eight ladies for the ultimate ‘Caribbean link up’, Nicki Minaj has released a new remix of Skeng’s Likkle Miss on Thursday, October 6.

Dubbed the ‘Fine Nine Remix,’ the ensemble features Spice, Pamputtae, Lisa Mercedez, Dovey Magnum, London Hill, Lady Leshurr, Destra Garcia, and Patrice Roberts.  The new release still includes original vocals from Skeng on the DropTop and Ditruth Records-produced beat.

In an Instagram Live on Wednesday, Minaj shared what motivated her to make the collaboration happen.

“I’ve always been a lover of Dancehall music. I grew up on Dancehall music so I know I’m back in my good place as a human and as an artist when I begin to fall in love again with the things I originally fell in love with before I became a rapper,” she said.

The Super Freaky Girl rapper added that Soca Queen Destra had also inspired her musical journey.

“A lot of these artistes to me, they don’t get their just due and they’ve paved the way on inspiring some of your favorite artiste,” she told her followers.

The Queen of Rap kicks off the track spitting a brand new ‘freestyle’ to “tek ah gyal man” and among other threats, hail the Original Front Teeth Gold Teeth Don Gorgon, Ninja Man, whom (in her recent IG Live) Nicki said she simply “Loooves”.

“I’m the one keeping b!tches under pressure I play the front, they gotta linger back. Foxy Trini b!tch, where Inga at? Is like me deh yah in Japan, ninja Nicki where Ninja Man?” she sings.

Then launching into the Dancehall leg of what Nicki says, “Feel like mi deh a yaad”, the Queen of Dancehall, Spice dives heavily into her cutthroat flows detailing how she keeps the men coming back.

“Likkle Miss mi have the tight and clean, right in between when the man intervene hard hard fi go in, pass mi di Vaseline Di man say mi likkle like the space in a fork teeth.”

With a seamless insertion, Pamputtae takes over from Spice with more hardcore rhymes, stating “Ah rich pvssy dis” “Yuh know ah Lotto pvssy dis and if yuh get it yuh lucky.”

The narrative of the power of the female anatomy continues when Lisa Mercedez arrives with more thought-provoking limericks of how she holds down her man; “Mi pvm pvm bless, nuh boy cant lef, pose pon di c#cky like a red carpet.

While Dovey Magnum flexes her man-snatching prowess, singing “If you want back you man, gyal please ask kindly,” as she details her magnetism with some forbidden lyrics.

Skeng drops the hook to segue into the Dancehall- Rap hybrid deliveries of Bronx-native London Hill and British rapper Lady Leshurr.

Destra emerges next to switch up the flow, boasting her ‘queeness and millions’, while Patrice adds some sultry soca flows but was not to be outdone on the raunchiness. Listen to the full track above.

The new, unexpected remix has caused a frenzy among fans, but no more than the eight ladies who were called up for the featured spots. As expected, several took to social media to gush their excitement and thanks to the Queen of Rap for this huge break.
