Overall, if one was sleepy by the time it got around to the Hot Tool singer’s segment, they would’ve certainly been woken up by the screams and vuvuzelas inside the venue when he touched the stage.

Like most other artists, the deejay, whose real name is Sheldon Lawrence began his piece in a full suit. However, as time progressed, he resorted to just his merino.

‘Donia didn’t hold back on delivering some of the hottest tracks from his catalog including Breeze, Hot Tool, Yeah Yeah, Banga, Dat Eazy, Big Baller, and Real Killer to culminate a solid performance.

In an interview with DancehallMag recently, the deejay revealed the high level of dedication it took him to reach where he is in his career.

“Coming into the industry me never have it easy. I have faced a lot of struggles over the years. In the early days, at that time, them use to say me can’t perform, I had clarity issues when voicing on stage and so we respect the grind because me love the music,” Aidonia said at the time.

“So, over the years, me challenge myself to get better at recording and to get better on stage, to get better at dealing with my image, to get better at dealing with types of crowds, the street crowd different from the corporate crowd, different from the uptown crowd. So, you know, it’s just the bitter, the struggle, the hustle, the grind fi just push myself to get better because we had the talent but we needed work,” he added.
