Dancehall stars Popcaan and Jahmiel will be the headlining acts at Grenada’s New National Party (NNP) Youth Rally on the island tomorrow (June 10, 2022).

The Unruly Boss, who is seemingly excited about tomorrow’s stint and has posted several snaps to his IG story en route to the eastern Caribbean island, is accompanied by Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh.

The pair—who both hail from St. Thomas, Jamaica—are seen sharing in a game of Ludo on a private jet with other members of the Unruly entourage, and were subsequently seen chilling on a couch outdoors when they arrived.

“How St. Thomas people reach ova Grenada? Chubble enuh!” declared the Dun Rich deejay.

Unlike Popcaan, Jahmiel made a subtle post to his Instagram feed to indicate that he will be in Grenada for the rally.

The event, which is slated for Plains Playing Field in St Patrick, comes ahead of the country’s general elections on June 23, 2022, where the NNP will go up against the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Friday’s youth rally has been widely advertised on social media by the NNP’s team through a well-decorated flyer with all the expected acts on the lineup.

The other performers will include Boyzie, Khalifa, Lil Jelo, V’ghn, Lava Man, Tallpree, Lil Kerry, Sheldon Douglas, Valene Nedd, Randy, Bramma, Papa Jerry, Knock Boss, Blackie, Boogie B Miney, Kunta Andall and Top Cat.

Meanwhile, some social media users have had a mouthful to say about the NNP’s “campaign tactic” to pull support. A few have pointed out that those who choose to attend the rally will only be going to see the Jamaican stars.

“Them kids in really business about what have to be said !! What they care about is the artist. 🤣🤣” commented one user.

One person even opted to ask the bold question about the level of compensation that the local Grenadian acts will be receiving.

“How much them grenadians getting to sings” to which the NNP’s Facebook handler responded, “let not your heart be troubled. Our local artistes are in safe hands.”

“Allu does talk so much look at that lineup we outsidee yessss,” another excited fan said.

Over on Twitter, one user remarked on the elaborate transportation used to bring in Poppy and his team, and suggested that the citizens of Grenada must have been the ones to foot the bill for the private jet.

“Our Boy Popcorn pulling up in a Gulfstream  G-400.  Rn this ain’t no NNP Youth Rally. It’s a taxpayers  Rally.  Cause someone has to pay for that jet. 🤣
