Skillibeng turned up the heat at the O2 Forum in London last night.

The Dancehall artist, 25, was well received by a horde of eager British ‘Eastsyde’ fans when he hit the O2 stage. Whap Whap, his latest release, was one of the night’s biggest crowd-pleasers, causing the entire theatre to sing along with his very controversial lyrics.

This is the Crocodile Teeth artist’s first performance in the UK and an evidently highly anticipated one. The deejay performed all of the hit songs from his growing catalog including Piana, Badman, Hot and Bad Everyday, but his breakout tracks Brik Pon Brik and Crocodile Teeth were the most reactive.

Skillibeng has indeed silenced his critics as footage of his performance began circulating online. The commentary from his diehard Eastsyde fans back home was festive.

“This is absolutely amazing brrrrrrrrrpppppppp 🐊🐊🐊 Eastsyde Boss 👑,” said one person.

“In other words he gave a “whopping” performance ❤👏👏 I love this crowd still, they came strapped with nuff 🐊 teeth … mi proud a d crowd😃,” said another.

And “OMG from Kartel in lockup I never see anything like this, keep up artist,” added another.

Vybz Kartel has even observed Skillibeng’s performance, adding to the buzzing comments online, “Right desso … UK di artiste a shell! & Him a do it well,” he said responding to YouTuber BlessydGazaDiva.

Skilli’s next performance is just around the corner, scheduled this Tuesday, April 5, at Manchester’s Albert Hall.

Fans can expect his sophomore album (still untitled) this summer, in June, according to Richard ‘Skane Dolla’ Ford, senior vice-president of A&R at RCA Records. It will be the follow-up to the Brik Pon Brik hitmaker’s debut effort Crocodile Teeth, a 12-track star-studded compilation that was released last October.

His latest track, Whap Whap, which released on March 10 has already picked up more the 3.3 millions views, check it out below.
