Tami Chin, Wayne Marshall Reveal They Are Finally Expecting A Baby Girl
The fourth time’s the charm for Jamaican entertainers Wayne Marshall and Tami Chin, who are finally expecting a baby girl.
The pair broke the internet on Friday after announcing the highly anticipated news via social media and their YouTube channel, Meet The Mitchells.
“And just like that, our world got turned upside down in the best way possible,” Chin wrote on her Instagram. “We can’t wait to meet you littlest love. Our daughter 💕💓💞. We posted a beautiful little video on our YouTube channel and shared our reactions.”
She took it a step further on her Twitter account by adding to the caption, “@Wayne_Marshall mi proud a yuh!!! DWL DWL.”
Last month, the couple announced that they were expecting their fourth child.
By shortly after midday, the Glory To God singer, Wayne Marshall, was trending at number one on Jamaican Twitter, as the entire country celebrated with the couple who has three sons: Jaxen (8), Atlas (5) and Oz. Wayne has a fourth son from a previous relationship, whose name is Gio.
In the YouTube reaction video, popular physician and comedian, Dr. Michael Abrahams broke the news to the anxious couple, with Tami expressing instant shock and blurting out, “Are you lying?!…are you f–king lying?!” between laughs and tears.
Wayne on the other hand was his usual playful self and teased that he had a ‘premonition’ that it was a girl after he “set Tami a certain way” during sex.
He too, made an IG posted and said, “Finally broke the spell and a baby girl is entering the Mitchell family chat. @tamichinmitchell 🌸💖”
Meanwhile, Twitter users have been reacting to the news.
“Wayne never stop till him get a girl eeh! So happy for them 🤣❤️,” said one fan.
“Wayne said: feel fi a baby girl,” another tweeted.
“NOT ME BAWLING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY OVER TAMI & WAYNE’S GENDER REVEAL VIDEO,” said another overjoyed fan.
Tami Chin, whose real name is Tami Chin Mitchell, and Wayne Marshall were married on Saturday, September 20, 2009, in a private ceremony at The Ruins, Mona Visitors’ Lodge. Among those in attendance were Tami’s sister, vocal powerhouse, Tessanne Chin and Esco (of dancehall duo, Leftside and Esco) who served as groomsman.
