Dancehall entertainer Mr. Lexx is still hospitalized after suffering a collapsed lung on Sunday night.

In an update yesterday, the Full Hundred deejay, who was admitted to the St. Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston, said his respiratory issues may have resulted from smoking and warned his friends against the habit.

Mr. Lexx posted a brief video on Instagram to take followers inside his hospital room while being treated by a medical professional. He was seen lying in bed, covered in bandages with a tube exiting the side region of his chest and apparently still needing the aid of a nasal oxygen cannula to breathe.

On the post he wrote, “Jus gonna leave this here for my friends who smoke.”

“Not telling y’all what to do but I def wouldn’t want y’all to go through dis. Every 12 hours a different set of needles an medication. U Cyah imagine di pain. Dam.”

On Monday morning (January 24), Mr. Lexx, born Christopher George Palmer, disclosed that he suffered a collapsed lung on Sunday night during a performance.

In a Tweet yesterday, he said that it was very worrying to know that he had friends who smoked more than he did.

One friend, Red Rat, wished Lexx a speedy recovery in an Instagram post. “Yea yea I know…. I would be the friend to call him with a spliff in my mouth!!!! 😂😂😂,” the Oh No deejay added.

For some fans, it was a gesture of reassurance that he’s doing okay.

“And just like that…..he’s back 😂❤️,” said one fan, Cristyfarogan.

Another replied, “@cristyofaragon 🤣 you took the words right outta my mouth welcome back @therealmrlexx 🤣🤣.”

The deejay posted a picture of himself in the hospital but told fans that he was in stable condition following surgery.
