Shenseea To Give Away $20,000 In New #LickChallenge

Shenseea is set to give away US $20,000 in a new challenge that was inspired by her latest single Lick with rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
The #LickChallenge is currently in full swing, commencing yesterday (January 25) after the Jamaican singer showed off the reward money to all the interested parties, in an Instagram Live.
“Hey guys, I hope you are ready for me today because I gave you all a head start yesterday. So today the challenge has officially begun and I’m giving away 20,000 dollars okay,” she said as she waved the wads of cash for everyone to see.

The #LickChallenge will offer two lucky winners US $10k on Instagram and US $10k on TikTok, which is equivalent to just over 3 million Jamaican dollars. Participants should hashtag the ‘#LickChallenge’ in their videos and focus on creating original and creative content. Once the video is uploaded to either Instagram or TikTok, contestants must tag Shenseea (anyone from her team) and Megan Thee Stallion.
Shenseea will be reposting all the videos on her IG page and the one with the most likes will be given US $10K and on TikTok, the video with the most views will be given the other US$10K.
Shenseea and Megan Thee Stallion’s saucy new collab has racked up over 4 million YouTube views since its release five days ago. According to World Music Views, the song “is on track to debut at number 1 on the World Music Views YouTube Chart this week with over 1 million streams.”

Lick will appear on her long-awaited debut album Alpha that’s slated for release on March 11, 2022 and may join her previously released Run Run and Be Good.
The Blessed singer revealed that every song on the collection would bring its own unique sound.
“This is my single Lick but there’s no other track that’s like this, every single track [in the album] is different, every single one of them. Like its me showcasing different sides of me. Its my first album, I’m practically experiencing, I don’t know what people will gravitate towards the most so I’m just throwing it all out there but it’s the best of the best from myself,” the singer told MTV’s Fresh Out Live on Monday.
Meanwhile, the fans have so far come out with some creative concepts for their #LickChallenge videos, including remixes of the Lick track, dance routines, and skits.
