Shaneil Muir Splits From Good Good Production
Yamabella singer Shaneil Muir is set to leave the Good Good Production label come November 27.
The record label made the announcement in a release on Monday, November 22.
According to both the label and Muir, the decision to part ways was a “tough one” but it was agreed that it was the best course of action for both parties at this time.
“Over the last year and a half, we as a label have learnt so many invaluable lessons from the partnership with Ms Muir and believe this amicable separation will enable us to preserve the relationship we’ve built with the artiste, personally and professionally,” read a release from Good Good Production.
“Outside of the music. Ms Muir is equally as pleasant as she is in a professional capacity and as such we wish her the absolute best in her future endeavours,” added Good Good Production in the release.
Similarly, a statement put out by Muir’s Top Gyal Entertainment noted that the journey with Good Good Productions was a good one noting that the door was open for the duo to collaborate in the future.
“My journey with Good Good Production has been nothing short of love, passion and hard work. I am forever grateful that I could be apart of such a patient, willing and capable team,” read a statement by Top Gyal Entertainment, which Muir posted to her Instagram feed.
“Our decision was far from easy but our musical partnership doesn’t end here. I see more successes for GGP and great outcomes and I wish nothing less. We’re more than a team, we’re family,” added the entertainment company.
Muir has been working with Good Good Production for 17 months during which she put out her smash hit Same Guy which features Denyque. The Dancehall star is best known for her breakout hit Yamabella, produced by Papi Don Muziq in 2020.
Good Good Production is a Jamaica-based record label owned and operated by Evan ‘Zum’ Powell. The label has worked with a myriad of artists including Shenseea, Denyque, Yanique Curvy Diva and D’Angel.
