Koffee

Three weeks and 3.5 million YouTube views later, Grammy kid Koffee has shared  some behind-the-scenes photos from her West Indies music video shoot.

In appreciation of the support the single has received from fans thus far, the young Reggae singer posted one of the thirteen behind-the-scenes snaps on Instagram yesterday with instructions to “unlock more photos from the video shoot” in her bio … and that we did!

“Thank you for all the support on my single ‘West Indies’ 💌 Follow the link in my bio to unlock more photos from the video shoot,” she wrote on her post.

Produced by Iotosh, West Indies, which Koffee says is “My Gift to the Caribbean” was released early this month (October 7th) and is the first single from her upcoming debut album via RCA Records, coming in 2022.

The visuals were co-directed by Meji Alaba and Koffee, 21, and they feature cameos with her mom, Jo-Anne Williams, and Reggae and Dancehall artists Prettii Prettii, Leno Banton, Tessellated, Jesse Royal, and Yaksta.

While they were spotted in the video, the new photos captured details many might have missed, like the eccentric looks, candid moments among the crew and just the singer in her element.

Looking Dapper In Denim

Upon sundown for her party scene, Koffee’s oversized, two-toned denim shirt featured tactful patchwork on the pocket and side. She accessorized this look with a few old-school gold rope chains, several rings, and other understated bling.

Going Vintage

Rocking a more classic look, Koffee’s bold multicolor floral shirt, and matching bucket hat, paired with those very breathable green vintage palazzo pants and double platform sandals definitely stood out in the crowd.

She stepped out in another vintage ensemble, this one being an African style, wide-leg pants bearing multiple patterns, that almost hid those super chunky platform boots she rocked below. She paired it with a double-layered white marina vest, symbolic to Jamaican fashion, and topped it off with classic yellow-tinted sunshades.

Playing With Patterns

Here Koffee matched patterns and mixed colors in this silky shirt and short set. A pretty cool look, but typical of this Jamaican fashionista, she had to put her spin on things – by choosing to complete her outfit with mid-calf Nike socks with silver platform sandals.

Rocking Her Miss Daisy Sweater Vest

Not many people can pull off a miss daisy sweater these days, but leave it to Koffee to unbridle envy in this look. She wore a plain white T underneath and wide-leg jeans pants boasting artsy patchwork.

Island Flexing

We didn’t catch this look in the West Indies music video, but Koffee may have shared this tropical number as a bonus. With the picturesque island setting in the backdrop, she showed off this breezy sea blue/peach print open-shirt and short set with some LD Waffle Sacai kicks from Nike.

That’s A Wrap!

In this last photo, Koffee went casual in a relaxed-fit orange hoodie with black shorts and white Nike sneakers.
