Hoodcelebrityy Spins Conversation On Her ‘Virginity’ Into New Song: Watch

After revealing that she is still a virgin, US-based Dancehall singer HoodCelebrityy, 30, has spun the conversation into a new single dubbed Virgin.

In speaking her truth on Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast earlier this month, the Inna Real Life singer’s confession went viral, leaving many to question her statement, and others to respect her more for holding out until she found the right person to share that intimate moment with.

“Sex is more than a physical thing, it’s a mental thing for me. There has to be a level of spiritual, mental connection,” Hoodcelebrityy said in a release.

In the wake of the conversations surrounding her virginity, the Jamaican-born singer connected with producer and friend Trackstarr, who also produced her widely successful 2018 release Walking Trophy, which has amassed over 57 million streams on YouTube alone, and headed straight into the studio with hopes of recording another hit song.

The new single and the steamy visuals to match dropped today (September 24th) and also dropped a lot of jaws in the process. Hoodcelebrityy wants audiences to know, “Virgin is a song to let people understand that sex is not just physical for me, but also mental. Therefore, if you don’t mentally penetrate my mind then I’m still a virgin”.

The Zues Lytning-directed music video on the other hand is more ‘physically’ appealing than anything else. In a visuals, produced by Melecia Granville and Tina Pinnock aka HoodCelebrityy, the red room lights glare as the lingerie-wearing deejay looks eager to dish her prerogative.
