Jada Kingdom, Protoje, Koffee And Shenseea On ‘Madden NFL 22 Playlist’

Dancehall songstresses Jada Kingdom and Shenseea, the Grammy Kid Koffee and Reggae singer Protoje are the Jamaican voices you’ll hear on the EA Madden NFL 22 Playlist.

The playlist accompanies the release of the Madden NFL 22 Soundtrack, an 11 track album, exclusively created for the popular football game by Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) and Interscope Records.  Shenseea is featured on the soundtrack album alongside Palestinian-Canadian Rapper rapper Belly, on a new song called How I’m Feelin’.

The exclusive soundtrack album plus 45 additional tracks are featured in the franchise’s newest mode called The Yard.  Among the additional tracks are Jada Kingdom’s feature on British pop singer, Aluna’s Get Paid with Princess Nokia, and Protoje’s Switch it Up featuring Koffee.

Get Paid, which was released on July 15, 2020 on Aluna’s debut album Renaissance, focuses on the importance of black women and people of color getting their due pay for their work. Aluna sampled Mr. Vegas’ Head High with a little bit of hip hop, and sings in the chorus. The Heavy singer, Jada Kingdom, closes out the song on the last verse with her unique soft Jamaican patois.

Protoje and Koffee’s Switch It Up appeared on the former’s sixth album, In Search of Lost Time, and was also recently featured on Barack Obama’s Summer 2021 playlist.

The EA Madden NFL 22 Playlist also features new music from Killer Mike, Leikeli47 and Coi Leray; current hits from Drake, J.Cole featuring Lil Baby, 24kGoldn; and more exclusives from newcomers Kuttem Reese and Kidd Kenn.

Madden NFL 22 is an upcoming American Football video game based on the National Football League. Developed by EA Tiburon and published by EA Sports, NFL 22 is the newest installment of the long-running Madden NFL series. The Spotify Playlist debuted three days ago, ahead of the video game which is expected to release on August 16.
