TeeJay Drops New Single ‘Weed & Money’ From Debut Album, ‘Rags To Riches’

Uptop Boss TeeJay, who recently walked away from the Romeich Entertainment camp, has released a new single from his upcoming debut album Rags To Riches, titled Weed & Money.

In Weed & Money, produced by Justus for JA Productions, TeeJay narrates a life of weed, guns and money, enhanced by the captivating music video which is presented as a short film. The mini-film, lasting almost five (5) minutes, opens to an armed robbery where it is revealed that TeeJay is the leader of the gang of thieves.

While TeeJay’s sweet melodious voice sings the catchy chorus “we’ve got weed and money”, in the verses we hear a sterner TeeJay hinting at scamming, girls and the high life. The video, as the name suggests, is heavily filled with clips of weed and a lady who gently takes care of his marijuana plants. Though the flow of the song is much smoother and relaxed, we still manage to see snippets of TeeJay dancing, as is his usual vibe.

In the end, TeeJay is raided by the cops but continues to sing as the sniper lights reflect on his clothes. TeeJay is careless, smoking his weed and relaxing on his sofa, for at the end of the day regardless, we’ve got weed and money…

TeeJay has promised at least one international collaboration for Rags To Riches. In addition to the previously released single From Rags To Riches, fans can also expect features with Rygin King, Skillibeng, Jada Kingdom, and Dexta Daps.
