Rebelution’s ‘In The Moment’ Album Debuts No. 2 On Billboard Reggae Chart

Californian Reggae band Rebelution has debuted No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with their seventh studio album, In The Moment.

The 15-track project, which was released on June 18, had featured three Jamaican artists – Kabaka Pyramid on 2020 Vision, Busy Signal on All Or Nothing, and Keznamdi on Places Unknown.

In The Moment sold 3,452 copies in pure albums sales and 6,038 album-equivalent units in total consumption from sales and streaming in the United States during its first week of release, according to data provided to DancehallMag by sales tracker MRC Data (formerly Nielsen SoundScan).

The album also debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard’s Top Current Albums Sales charts and No. 36 on the Independent Albums chart.

Rebelution’s first-week numbers were not enough to unseat Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, where it has been No. 1 for 77 weeks in a row.

Shaggy‘s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection is at No. 3. American Reggae band Stick Figure holds No. 4 with their World on Fire album.

UB40’s Greatest Hits is at No. 5 this week, with Stick Figure’s Set In Stone at No. 6.

Sean Paul’s Dutty Rock and The Trinity albums are at No. 7 and 8 respectively. Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Exodus is currently at No. 9, with Rebelution’s Live At Red Rocks at No. 10

Meanwhile in Jamaica, Rytikal‘s Chosen remains the No. 1 song on YouTube this week for almost one month. Intence‘s Turn Off is No. 2, while 10Tik‘s Roll Deep is No. 3.

Spice, Shaggy, and Sean Paul’s mega collab, Go Down Deh, is currently at No. 4, while Karen by Govana is No. 5.

Squash’s Rate Who Rate You is No. 6 on the island, followed by Alkaline‘s Hostage and Yaksta’s Ambition at No. 7 and 8.

Newcomer 450 is No. 9 with Imperfection, while Laa Lee is No. 10 with Tip Inna It.
