After a “badly needed vacation” in Jamaica, Tina Lawson, the mother of Pop diva Beyoncé, shared that she understands why Reggae legend Bob Marley said what he did in his song Three Little Birds.

Lawson, who visited Jamaica recently, shared a video to Instagram yesterday, with the Jamaican icon’s song playing in the background.

In the video, surrounded by lush vegetation and streaming water — the sound of which is evident — she shares the amazing view from her vantage point on the island.

The video is accompanied by the caption: “Bob Marley said ‘Don’t worry about a thing cause every little thing is [gonna] be alright!’ With beauty surrounding him like that, I see why he said that.”

On another video shared with her 3 million followers today, the grandmother of four wrote, “Dancin on The Beach ❤️Hot Jamaica nights❤️❤️” as the song played.

Lawson also has another daughter Solange, with ex-husband Mathew Knowles.  Her four grandkids are Beyonce’s nine-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, and three-year-old twins, Sir and Rumi, and Solange’s 16-year-old son called Daniel Jr.

Released by Bob Marley and The Wailers in 1977, Three Little Birds was done for Marley’s Exodus album. “Can’t believe it’s been 44 years since Daddy released one of my favorite albums of his. Which track on Exodus is your favorite?”, Tuff Gong International CEO Cedella Marley asked on social media earlier this month. Forty years after his death, Three Little Birds remains a favorite among everyone from fans of Dutch football club Ajax to post-insurrection Trump supporters

Meanwhile, Lawson also described Jamaica — an island nation in the Caribbean — as “heaven on Earth”.

“This is heaven on Earth. In Jamaica, this is a natural waterfall. Look at this; just go on into the ocean. Look how beautiful [it is]!” the American pop singer’s mom said as she recorded the view.

In the caption for that video, Lawson said she had just returned from “the most beautiful, spiritually filled, badly needed vacation!”

“With so many of the people I love most! It renewed my soul! It was a paradise filled with laughter, love, and God made beauty. Back to the real world,” she said.

Two days before Lawson shared the videos on Instagram, former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, who was also on the trip, posted a video and photo of herself eating a Jamaican patty on Instagram with the caption: “Missing Jamaica”.
