The Queen of Dancehall and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Spice was among the entourage pulled over by cops while en route to Allure nightclub in Miami to celebrate the album release for American rapper Polo G.

Spice, who is good friends with Polo G’s mom, Stacia Mac went to support the young rapper at his official album release party on Friday night. On the way to Allure for the after-party, cops pulled up on the vehicle that Polo G was traveling in.

During the ordeal, Spice rang up her 3.5 million Instagram followers on a Live to allow her friend to bring awareness of what they felt was an outright case of racial profiling and injustice towards Stacia’s sons; Polo G and two others.

“We’re in Miami and we just left Polo’s release party, my kids call me in a frenzy saying that the police are all behind them, 20 cars deep and this is not an exaggeration”, said a hysterical Stacia on Spice’s IG Live.

She continued, “What is ridiculous is the fact that a young black man can celebrate his success and still be looked at as a mothaf—ing nig-a. They stopped them because they were driving while ‘black’, let’s keep in mind they were driving in a licensed vehicle with f—king security and a driver okay, he wasn’t even the person driving. Do you know how scary that is?”

Stacia, who is Polo G’s manager, said she was able to speak with the cops directly but when she asked about the whereabouts of her minor, 16-year-old son, Torion in particular, they refused to let her speak to him.

“And when I go and approach them to ask them about my children, and namely my minor son who is 16, they tell us (Stacia, Spice among a few other ladies) if we don’t leave that they gone lock us the f—k up.”

Spice interjected to confirm her friend’s statement, “They marched … dem march, a mussi 40 police dat march we down the street,” the Jamaican deejay said.

The terrified momager said that she didn’t even know if her children were safe and urged Spice’s fans to flood the Miami Police Department and tell them to let her sons go.

“They have Polo G, they have T Baby and I am not having it. My children will not be a casualty. I have raised my children right. They are respectful people and we are celebrating their success and… this is how it ends? Not on my watch and not today, will they do anything to my sons,” Stacia insisted.

She continued, “I have the right to ask where my children are, I have a right to know where my minor child is, I have the right.”

They proceeded to show viewers the extensive police brigade in front of their car, which confirmed that there were indeed more than 20 police cars with flashing lights stretched across the scene.

Completely shocked by what they were experiencing, the ladies went on to highlight that the kids were now inside of a police car and also how the cops were standing around with their hands lain on their guns.

“This is a mother’s nightmare realized,” Stacia continued, “Its ridiculous, you have so many things that are stacked against your children, and then to feel that the people who are tasked with your safety are the aggressors that will, in turn, do your children harm.”

“If my children were stopped by the police and they were any other color, I know they’d get a pat on the back, a pat on their head, and a smack on their ass and they’d be okay. But because they are black men, they villainize our color, they villanize our wealth, they villanize everything about us…. It’s ridiculous, it’s excessive and at the very least it is egregious and its f—king racist,” she argued.

It was later reported that Chicago-based rapper, Polo G was arrested in Miami following his album release party on multiple charges including battery of a police officer, resisting officer with violence, criminal mischief, and making threats. His bond had been set at over $15,000.

According to TMZ News, the rapper allegedly “beatdown” one of the officers on the scene. The police report directly linked to Polo’s arrest cites that he allegedly used his elbow and pummeled the Miami cop who they said suffered lacerations to his face from the struggle.

Stacia, his momager later told the news source that the driver of their ride, who she alleges is white, swerved in the road and cut off a police cruiser, which then initiated a stop. For whatever reason, Stacia says Polo and others were yanked from the backseat and got dealt with, instead of the actual driver.

Today Spice wrote a few lines of encouragement to Stacia on Instagram.

“@stacia.mac I can’t even begin to imagine how it feels to have, not one but 3 of your children locked up. Our happiness was taken from us last night by these cops 👮‍♀️. All we wanted to do was celebrate your son @polo.capalot success,” Spice wrote.

“Black people ain’t safe no where and it’s just the sad truth, but this morning I salute you black Queen I’m sending lots of hugs, kisses and prayer 🙏🏾 your way. Be strong Boss Lady, one thing I know for sure , YOU GOT THIS ✊🏿.”

After the incident, Spice told her fans last night that she had never personally experienced racial discrimination. “I went live on my IG so she (Stacia) could explain WTF was happening to her Sons. I’ve never been so speechless in my entire life. On God, this was my first experience May God protect Black Men and Women [sad face]”, Spice wrote.

Her post opened up the conversation for others who expressed concern and fear for their black sons living in the US. One, in particular, thanked Spice for “being a real one” and pointed out that her young sons were upstanding men, one currently serving in The United States Army, 25, another that is a 20-year-old college graduate, and her youngest who is great basketball player for his high school, but like Stacia and many other black mothers, live in fear and will continue to pray for their safety.

Spice responded and said, “My son is 13 and I’m already living in fear for him. I swear we ain’t safe [praying hands]”.

The Queen of Dancehall was commended for using her platform to bring awareness to the incident.
